Steve Burns and Sam Caster, Click the Play button to begin.

Well, good evening, everyone. Welcome to Alovea.live. I’m Steve Burns. I’m here with Craig Smith, our special guest, Anis Meyer, director of Alovea Europe, and of course, as always, our cool CEO, Mr. Sam Caster. Sam, thanks for being on, as always. You are cool. To me, you’re cool. I like hanging out with you. I know I’m not cool, so then… I don’t know.

So, listen, we kicked off Mental Health Awareness Month for May, and there are a lot of things you could do for that. So I’m going to start out by talking a little bit about a couple products real quick, and then we’re going to talk about some other ways you can help with your mental health by connecting with a purpose, and I’ll bring Sam in for that, and then we will also have our guest, Anis, on as well.

So talking about products, there are two products I want to focus on for mental health, and those two products are FIX and Balance. We have a great drink mix called FIX, and the key component in there is ashwagandha. There are a lot of products out there that have ashwagandha in it, but a lot of those products have a pinch of ashwagandha, or they use ashwagandha leaves or only roots. We use a combination of leaves and roots, and there’s an active component in that ashwagandha with analytes. With analytes are these particular ingredients that are adaptogenic. You don’t need to learn that word. I’m just explaining that’s what they are, and they don’t work on the central nervous system, but they seem to just tell the brain, calm down. Everything’s going to be okay. People can feel their stress melting away when they drink a FIX, and what happens then, as the perceived feelings of stress fall, we don’t produce as much cortisol.

Cortisol is that fight-or-flight hormone that happens. Somebody cuts us off in traffic. We see a text we don’t like, a news story we don’t like. We’re worried about any little thing. We start producing too much of this cortisol, this hormone, and then that leads to a chain reaction where we start to have this stress going on in our body. The cortisol is overproduced. We’re not able to produce the other hormones in the proper amounts, and then our brain isn’t working right. We’re not getting enough sleep. Then once the sleep starts, then the food issues start. You’re eating anything to try to get energy and so on and so on. It’s a really bad domino effect. This can lead to quite a bit of extra mental stress, mental health issues. I’m not talking about specific issues that are diagnosable by a psychologist or a psychiatrist. I’m talking about just mental health overall, having a good frame of mind. And so FIX really helps you to lower those cortisol levels and allow the body to reduce the feelings of stress so that you can get the way you want to be mentally and start to get your mind in the right shape.

Next product I want to talk about is Balance. People say, wait a minute, balance, that’s that hormone product. It is. It is meant to support the endocrine system and the production of hormones. Hormones, again, being the chemical messengers that tell our glands and organs what to do and when to do it. But we have specific amino acids in there that our bodies produce. But when you have a little bit more, especially glycine, when you have a little bit more of that, that’s the feel-good hormone, you will feel better. You have a brighter outlook. People tell me, if I miss balance, I’m grumpy. If I miss balance, I’m kind of depressed or feeling a little bit blue. But the balance helps the body to properly balance those hormones and have those specific amino acids on top of that to help you feel better overall, feel better mentally. And again, that’s important for mental health.

So those are the two products I wanted to cover tonight. Next week, Sam’s going to talk a little bit about our core product, which also helps with particular thoughts and actually helps with hormones as well. And he’ll get into that next week.

But now I want to talk about the HOPE movement. People say, and I want to do a quick thing here in the chat room, tell me what the name of this company is. It’s Alovea Global. Look at our Instagram. It’s at Alovea Global. We are a global company. And we think locally most of the time, but we have to start thinking globally as we go out. There are many people around the world that need help. There are many children around the world that need help. And so this last week, we went to Mexico, and we had a great time just with people not just connecting to the vision of Alovea, but actually living the vision of Alovea, getting to experience firsthand our first delivery of Mighty Milk. And I don’t want to step on his lines too much here, so I’m going to bring on our CEO, Mr. Sam Caster, to talk a little bit about the purpose, this purpose-driven company, and what we were able to achieve in Mexico. So, Sam, take it away.

Hey, thanks. You know, we do take trips to Mexico, and number one, we want everybody who’s interested to have the ability to experience what we do as an organization. And there’s no better way to do that than through a trip where we’re actually nourishing these children. For the first few years, we created the environment where you had to achieve a certain something in order to go. But we decided that we’ve got so many new people coming in, we wanted to make it available to everyone. So we just said, first come, first serve. Come with us. We’ll make it worth your while and experience who we are as an organization.

And so we had several people from Europe on us and the group came. We had people that actually I’ve never met before that came. Anyway, it was just a great mix of people. I think every trip is just a little unique to itself because of the people that come and the interaction with the kids, where we go and all that.

I was just telling before we started the call that we went to Charisma, like we always do, which is the largest rehab center for brain damaged children in all of Latin America. And of course, they get the Mighty Milk product. And we always hear from the caregivers sort of the benefits that they’re seeing. But this time they had a mom there with her child, and you could tell that the child was obviously challenged. But she just gave this incredible testimony of the change that she has seen in her child since being on the Mighty Milk. And just the quality of life impact and less, you know, colds, flus, all that kind of stuff. Her rehab is going better. Cognitive ability is better. All things that we know, but to see it transformed into a little two-year-old child was just incredible.

The other thing they did this time, Steve, which they’ve never done, is they had moms of these kids write notes to us. And we’ll get those translated, that’s the word I’m looking for, so that everybody can see them. But they’re all, according to Octavio, who was there, who obviously reads Spanish and can tell us what they’re saying in English, he’s just saying, these just made me cry. You know, these moms are all just like so grateful for the work that we’re doing, the product that we provide, and the model that we’ve created to provide sustainable support to them. So just an incredible trip, Steve.
