We have around 40 posts at this website on the subject of Social Business all of which can be found by clicking here.
However, to boil it down I provide at this link a series on Social Business by Sam Caster in podcast format.
Or read a PDF document (the English version has audio) by clicking here.
If you don’t have time for any of this let me assure you that you will pick it up eventually just by staying in touch with us because it is a significant part of our mission
Connecting your pursuit of wellness with a child’s urgent nutritional needs.
By now, you’ve heard me talk about Acemannan and why its research deserves our attention. But there’s another part of this story I don’t want getting lost in the shuffle.
We are a Social Business 3.0 community.
What does that mean? Simply put, we connect doing business with meeting an urgent human need. Through our Buy 1, Nourish 1 commitment, purchases of our nutritional products help provide nutritional support for medically vulnerable children. It’s a line item on our expense report, not an afterthought.
If Acemannan has felt like a best-kept secret, this mission may be an even bigger discovery.
On one side, we offer Acemannan-based products to people interested in their own wellness. On the other, Acemannan is also central to the nutritional support we provide for children facing malnutrition.
The same core ingredient connects those two worlds. Even the licensing reflects that purpose: our global nonprofit partner holds the license to the Acemannan technology, while our for-profit direct-sales company brings it to market to serve our customers.
And the need is enormous. We’re told seven million die yearly of complications related to malnutrition. A Nobel Prize winner in social business from 2006 says the number is much larger.
We want to contribute to ending that suffering. Our ambition is to help eradicate childhood malnutrition by joining Acemannan technology with a business model designed to sustain and expand nutritional support globally.
That mission requires sustainability. And we are going to the market to acquire it. Our model gives us a practical way to contribute to that objective through everyday purchasing decisions.
That’s what I like to call the Genius and the Goodness of Social Business 3.0.
The genius is connecting the resources of business in a global market where we are in the driver’s seat of best-in-class nutritional technology with a continuing humanitarian purpose.
The goodness is remembering who those resources are meant to serve: a child, a family, a community.
More to learn? Absolutely.
Below this video, you’ll find links explaining our model and our humanitarian commitment. Take a few minutes to explore.
The Acemannan research is worth understanding—and so is the purpose behind it.
