Toms Shoes has grown to social business prominence by attaching a buy one, give one model to their products so that each and every product purchased helps someone else besides. Thus, they have brought solutions to various regions of the world. This has also been extremely profitable. But understand, this is not a charity model, it’s profit with purpose and that points us again to Alovéa. Alovéa began the Hope Movement in March 2016. This was the first-ever Social Business 3.0 platform within the nutrition industry.

In one year the accumulated total of nutritional servings generated for vulnerable children totaled six million. And within only six months the Hope Movement was generating 100,000 nutritional servings monthly or 3,333 every day.
Since our goal is to eradicate childhood malnutrition, you can see why we’re excited the by May 2018 our totals have climbed to over 118,000 nutritional servings, not per month, but per week. That’s 16,878 every day. Projections in our rate of growth include nothing but increase. As more team members join the nutritional servings grow.

For most who read this blog post, it really begins with the modern diet. 90 cents out of every dollar we spend on food has processed ingredients. These are empty calories. These are synthetically made products. And these are products designed for profit rather than for health. And it’s resulted in a country filled with people who are sick, tired and overweight.

Sixty-nine percent of U.S. adults are dealing with this issue of wanting to lose 15 pounds or more. Another result of the modern diet is 75 percent of the U.S. workforce is tired and fatigued. And over 50 percent of US adults are sick. They take a growing number of medications. Recent studies show 75 percent of everyone you know is getting some sort of prescription medication and over 50 percent of everyone you know is prescribing to two or more medications. Now you would think with all this medication we would be the healthiest country, yet of all countries we are rated as 37th and among modern countries we rate dead last.
